ARod Makes A Fan’s Dream Come True

The Yankees may have lost on Friday night at Fenway, but ARod made the night memorable for a young baseball fan named David Moss.

After ARod’s moon shot in the second inning, he gave his bat to David who was sitting front row behind the Yankees on-deck circle.

David was in Boston for the Yanks-Sox game on Friday in honor of his father, Andy, who passed away from cancer last year. Andy’s dream was to take his children to Fenway, but unfortunately he was not able to do so. David also met David Ortiz and attended batting practice before the game. Ortiz let ARod know of David’s story, and clearly Alex took note.

The Yankees lost a heart-breaker to the Sox Friday, but stories like this put everything into perspective. At the end of the day, it’s just a game… we should remind ourselves of that. I know I have to.
