The Yankees could not solve the slow pitches of veteran Doug Davis as they returned to Wrigley Field for the second part of interleague this season.
The Cubs did figure out Freddy Garcia, mainly young star Starlin Castro. The young shortstop hit 2 doubles and scored 2 of the 3 runs to support Davis.
The Yankees managed only 1 run on 3 hits off of Davis. He is barely an average pitcher and our offense cannot struggle with a pitcher of this caliber.
