Hiroki Kuroda is on the mound for the rubber match of the three-game series. He is looking to bounce back from one of the worst starts of his remarkable season.
After being hit by pitch on the left hand, Robinson Cano is not in tonight’s lineup and is listed as day-to-day. After injuring his knee yesterday, Eduardo Nunez was initially penciled in for second base but was scratched from tonight’s lineup and Mark Reynolds is making his first career start at second base.
Coming into play tonight, the Yankees are 7.5 back in the American League East division and 4.5 back of a Wild Card spot.
