Yankees game 137 preview (9/8/15)

Masahiro Tanaka (11-6, 3.73 ERA) and Kevin Gausman (2-6, 4.59 ERA) face off in game two of the series. Tanaka is coming off his second straight win, giving up four runs on six hits through 6 1/3 to Boston. This will be his second start of the year against Baltimore, going 7 2/3 giving up three runs in the win the first time. He is 1-1 with a 3.74 ERA in three career outings against them.

Gausman has had success against the Yanks in his career, posting a 3-2 record with a 2.94 ERA in 10 games (four starts.) He took the loss the last time start against them on July 22, giving up four runs through six. His last start against the Rays was a short one, lasting just 2 1/3 innings giving up three runs on eight hits extending his winless streak to six starts.
