Yankees game 138 preview (9/9/15)

CC Sabathia (4-9, 5.27 ERA) goes for the series win against Ubaldo Jimenez (10-9, 4.24 ERA) and the Orioles. Sabathia will make his return from the 15 day DL sporting a knee brace to help with right knee inflammation. He left his last start against Cleveland after 2 2/3 innings, two runs and four hits. He took a no decision against Baltimore back in June, giving up four runs through five.

Jimenez beat the red hot Blue Jays his last time out despite walking six. He gave up two runs (one earned) on four hits through 5 2/3 innings. In his most recent start at Yankee Stadium on July 23, he took a loss after giving up seven runs on eight hits through 2 1/3 innings. It was his shortest outing of the season and he’s gone more than six innings in just 11 of his 27 starts this year.
