Yankees game 29 preview (5/7/15)

The Yankees come back home for four games against Baltimore, Nathan Eovaldi (2-0, 3.81 ERA) and Chris Tillman (2-3, 6.23 ERA) will kick things off in game one. Eovaldi allowed two runs on seven hits over 6 2/3 innings, with one walk and two strikeouts against the Red Sox his last time out. He hasn’t taken a loss in five starts this season.

Eovaldi has faced the Orioles just once, and that start was this season. He went five innings allowing two runs on eight hits in a no decision.

Tillman allowed two runs on three hits and two walks through seven innings on Friday against the Rays, striking out seven.

O’s shortstop J.J. Hardy could be activated from the DL this series. He has been sidelined with a strained left shoulder.

Tillman is 5-5 with a 4.96 ERA in his career against the Yanks.
