The Yankees will send right-hander Hiroki Kuroda to the mound tonight against the Seattle Mariners. Kuroda, 37, is looking to rebound from a poor outing last week in Kansas City. He only lasted 4 1/3 innings, allowing 3 runs (2 earned) on six hits. The right-hander is making his seventh start of the season.
Eric Chavez is in the lineup tonight as the DH. Obviously means he’s cleared to play. No corresponding roster move yet.
King Felix (3-1, 1.89 ERA) is on the mound for the Mariners.
Former Yankees top prospect, Jesus Montero, is back in the Bronx for the first time since being traded to the Seattle Mariners for Michael Pineda and pitching prospect, Jose Campos.
