After rain washed away the series finale against Toronto at the Stadium yesterday, CC Sabathia will take the ball tonight against the Baltimore Orioles from Camden Yards. The Yanks played the O’s back in April in New York, taking two out of three; this is their first trip to Baltimore this season. Opposing Sabathia is former Yankee Freddy Garcia. The Yankees have stacked lefties in their lineup with the hopes that they will be able to score early and often. On the season, lefties are hitting .333 against Garcia – righties are at .156.
