Ever since my parents bought me a Paul O'Neill shirt at my first Yankees game back in 1994 I've been a diehard fan. I graduated from Springfield College in Springfield, Mass., in 2011 with a degree in Communications/Sports Journalism, so writing about the Yankees has always been a passion of mine.

Time to change this continuously losing lineup. The DH was not intended for a senior rest area, but set up to allow a team to use a good hit (but limited defensive) player. With 1 HR and now a whopping 123 RBI from Jeter (and in the No. 2 spot) is totally unacceptable.
Why did they sign Ellsbuiry? One super season out of 7 with Boston, and with injuries of late. This may be a big a flop as was the acquisition of Steve Kemp many years ago!
Was Betran properly checked medically? Beltran and Roberts would have been great acquisitions — 8-10 years ago — but not now.
Kelly Johnson? Soriano seems to have a blindfold on. The reserve infielders are not inspiring.
    McCann?

Fielding is getting sloppy — and when hitters come up with RISP, they tend to freeze. Seems they would rather be el;sewhere. If the BOSS wasx ar4ound, some would be gone … and soon! I would like to see Cashman and Girardi go first!
And the pitching has fallen apart. Still wondering what the REAL story is with CC … and has that excessive pine tar affected Pineda?

Tex showing signs of life, and Solarte, Betances and Tanaka. A handful cannot carry the whole AARP squad!
