Yankees game 60 preview (6/12/15)

Michael Pineda (7-2, 3.33 ERA) opens up the series at Camden Yards taking on Ubaldo Jimenez (3-3, 3.02 ERA). Pineda’s last scheduled start was skipped to try and keep his innings down. He is coming off 11 days rest and is 0-1 with a 4.50 ERA in his career coming of six or more days of rest. He beat his former team his last start, going six innings with seven hits and two runs while K-ing nine.

Jimenez gave up just one run on six hits through five innings, but he did walk a season high six in the no decision. It was his fourth consecutive start with a no decision. This will be his first start against the Bombers this season.Β He isΒ 2-4 with a 5.50 ERA in seven career games against them.

 

Tidbits:

The Yankees are 4-3 so far this season against Baltimore.

The O’s took 13 of 19 games last year.

Baltimore is coming off a sweep of Boston and have won four straight.
