After a split against the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Yankees continue their homestand against the Tampa Bay Rays starting tonight. The pitching match-up features a pair of lefties – veteran Andy Pettitte and young phenom Matt Moore. Joe Girardi has decided to move Jayson Nix to third and Reid Brignac to short, stating that he wants the best defensive left side of the infield possible with Pettitte on the mound.
