Yankees game 73 preview (6/25/15)

Adam Warren (5-2, 3.62 ERA) and the Yanks travel to the Lone Star State to take on Dallas Keuchel (8-3, 2.35 ERA) and the AL leading Astros. Warren got the win against Detroit his last time out, going a career high 8 innings giving up two runs on seven hits and seven K’s. This will be his fourth appearance, second start, against Houston. He got the win in his only start.

Keuchel gave up five runs on five hits, three homers, through six against the Mariners. He was untouchable during the first two months of the year, but has been hit hard as of late. He’s gotten just one win in his last four outings giving up 12 runs in that time. However, he has only given up seven long balls and 75 hits in 103 1/3 innings so far this season.

 

Tidbits:

The Astros went 4-2 against the Yankees last season.

Brett Gardner is batting .500 with four homers, a triple, a double, 10 RBIs and 12 runs scored in his last seven games.

Chase Headley isΒ .500 with three RBIs and a homer against Keuchel.
