Jacob Lindgren placed on DL in minors

Jacob Lindgren has been placed on the DL, retroactive to June 13th. He pitched for the Yankees on June 12th, and was sent down to Triple-A Scranton the next day, while Jose Ramirez was brought up to take his place.

Lindgren never informed the team he was injured, which could explain his lackluster performances of late. If his injury is the reason he hasn’t been pitching well and can bounce back, the Yankees will need his help later on in the season as the bullpen remains a concern for the team.
