Aaron Judge breaks single-season rookie home run record

In his second at-bat on Monday afternoon, Aaron Judge tied Mark McGwire for the single-season rookie home run record.

However, it didn’t take long for Judge to break the tie.

Just two at-bats after tying the record, Judge hit his second homer of the ball game. The home run put him in sole possession of the record for most home runs by a rookie in a single season with 50.

With his historical rookie season, Judge has also joined some elite Yankee company.

We’re sure you’ve heard of the other four players on the list.

It’s been a tremendous rookie season for Aaron Judge. No one expected the 25-year-old to have such an impact this early, but he has proven that he has a very bright future ahead.
