On Monday afternoon, MLB The Show released the gameplay trailer for their highly anticipated video game. This year Aaron Judge is on the cover, so it’s not hard to fathom he would be featured heavily in the trailer.
Yep, in this year’s trailer, you have Judge, Judge’s famous cheering section ‘Judge’s Chambers’, a sneak peek of Giancarlo Stanton in a Yankee uniform, and a Brett Gardner cameo. You also have steals, walk-off celebrations, antics during the seventh inning stretch, and more.
But fans of the video game series were taken by surprise when Yankees legend Babe Ruth was featured at the very end of the trailer.
This year MLB The Show added Babe Ruth as a playable character, and as you could imagine the general reaction from fans was positive.
Yep. That’s Babe Ruth in a helmet calling his hot in @MLBTheShow.
