Sanchez confirmed that today’s press conference will be with Spanish speaking media only, something the Yankees do each month with a latino player.

The Yankees español twitter account, @Yankees_beisbol, tweeted this morning that the Yankees and Gary Sanchez will hold a joint press conference at 3 pm ET this afternoon from the Stadium. There is no word yet on the nature of the presser.
As news trickled throughout twitter, many fans began to worry about what the sudden press conference could mean. Predictions have ranged from a possible suspension or contract extension to some sort of charitable announcement.
Either way, we’ll find out in a few hours. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
