Following the Yankees’ trade for J.A. Happ, Luis Cessa was optioned to Scranton and OF Shane Robinson was called up. Robinson will be a placeholder until Happ arrives in the Bronx, according to Mandy Bell of mlb.com.

Cessa, 26, is coming off two good starts against the Orioles and Rays, throwing 11.1 combined innings and surrendering just seven hits and two runs. Overall on the season, Cessa is 1-2 with a 3.10 ERA in seven games (three starts).
Roinson, who will likely be with the big league club for just one game, has appeared in just two games with the Railriders this season, going 1-for-3.
