Mitchell reinstated from disabled list

Bryan Mitchell is back with the Yankees after the team reinstated him off of the seven-day concussion disabled list today.

The ball that hit Mitchell in the face has been well documented. Luckily enough, he did not spend much time away from the game. Mitchell suffered a nasal fracture that sidelined him for a little over a week.

He will most likely come back as reinforcement in the bullpen and as a spot starter in case the Yankees want to give Masahiro Tanaka and Michael Pineda extra days rest.

Having everyone healthy is important for the Yankees who see themselves 1 1/2 games behind the red hot Toronto Blue Jays. With Mitchell back and seemingly healthy, he could be a big piece out of the bullpen for the stretch run.
