Jacoby Ellsbury landed on the 15 Day DL due to a right knee strain suffered in the 8-6 loss to the Nats. In a corresponding move the team called up outfielder Slade Heathcott from Triple A.
Heathcott has had a resurgence of sorts in the minors this season after being removed from the 40 man roster over the winter. In 36 games this season, he is hitting .280 with one homer and 17 RBIs.
