Yankees avoid arbitration with Sonny Gray, Didi Gregorius and Austin Romine

Sonny Gray, Didi Gregorius and Austin Romine all avoided arbitration with the Yankees. Gray will make $6.5 million in 2018, Gregorius $8.25 million and Romine $1.1 million.

In 11 starts for the Bombers after coming over from Oakland, Gray went 4-7 with a 3.72 ERA.

Gregorius is coming off his best year in the Bigs. He slashed .287/.318/.478 in 2017 while hitting a career-high 25 homers and 87 RBI in 136 games.

Romine managed a .218 average in 80 games for the Yankees in 2017. He hit two homers, 21 RBI and one Miguel Cabrera.

Chasen Shreve is the last arbitration eligible player left without a deal.
