Major League Baseball announced their playoff pool shares on Monday afternoon, and while the Yankees didn’t walk away with the World Series trophy, they did walk away with some extra cash.
57 Yankees players will take home a full share of $138,897.63 for advancing to the American League Championship Series.
The money comes from a Yankees players pool of $10,140,051.86. Along with the full shares, there were 15.01 partial shares.
The Houston Astros earned the most money from the postseason, taking home $438,901.57 in full shares. The Los Angeles Dodgers were second with $259,722.14 in full shares.
