Yankees Looking to Bring Back Chase Headley

Alex Rodriguez will be back in pinstripes come spring, he will also be 40 years old in July. The Yankees are looking to solidify third base and Chase Headley is their man. He was impressive after coming over from San Diego, posting a.768 OPS in the Bronx with six homers and a .262 batting average. He finished the year with 13 dingers, 49 RBI, a .243 batting average and .700 OPS.

The team is sure to check in on World Series hero Pablo Sandoval, but he will come with quite a hefty price tag. They are comfortable with Headley at third, and as they should be since he was great with his glove. ARod will see most of his playing time at DH with the possibility of some first base here and there, according to Cashman. The infield has a lot of holes, but locking up Headley would be a step in the right direction.

Pitchers and catchers report February 20th.
