Yankees recall Clint Frazier, designate David Hale for assignment

The Yankees have recalled Clint Frazier to the Majors ahead of today’s game against the Blue Jays. Frazier has been in and out of the Majors ever since fully recovering from a concussion suffered in Spring Training. He is tearing up the minor leagues, slashing .312/.391/.577 with 10 HR, 21 RBI and 14 doubles.

Frazier has appeared in eight games for the Yankees this season and is 7-for-20 with seven runs and a pair of doubles.

David Hale is being designated for assignment once again. He ate 5.2 innings out of the bullpen on Friday night and  kept the game within reach with one run allowed on five hits. Overall, he has a 4.61 ERA between the Twins and Yankees this season. For the Yankees, he has allowed three earned runs in 10 innings across three appearances.
