Yankees release Spring Training T.V. schedule

As the New York Yankees begin to prepare for the 2018 season, fans were wondering how soon they could watch their Yankees play competitive baseball on television.

On Monday afternoon, the YES Network answered back by releasing the Yankees Spring Training broadcast schedule. YES Network will air 11 games this Spring, starting with the February 23rd game against the Detroit Tigers at Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Florida.

Here is the 11-game schedule. Times are subject to change.

Friday, February 23: Detroit Tigers vs. New York Yankees, 1:05 p.m.
Wednesday, February 28: New York Yankees @ Detroit Tigers, 1:05 p.m.
Friday, March 2: Atlanta Braves vs. New York Yankees, 1:05 p.m.
Sunday, March 4: Tampa Bay Rays vs. New York Yankees, 1:05 p.m.
Thursday, March 8: Philadelphia Phillies vs. New York Yankees, 1:05 p.m.
Saturday, March 10: New York Mets vs. New York Yankees, 1:05 p.m.
Monday, March 12: Minnesota Twins vs. New York Yankees, 6:05 p.m.
Tuesday, March 13: Detroit Tigers vs. New York Yankees, 1:05 p.m.
Thursday, March 15: Pittsburgh Pirates vs. New York Yankees, 1:05 p.m.
Sunday, March 18: Miami Marlins vs. New York Yankees, TBA
Friday, March 23: Boston Red Sox vs. New York Yankees, 1:05 p.m.

Pitchers and catchers are slated to report to Tampa on February 13, and position players will report on February 18. The first full workout is scheduled for February 19.
