Chris Capuano is back during Sabathia injury

This guy will not go away. With the knee injury to CC Sabathia, LHP Chris Capuano will take his place on the roster as a utility reliever. Sabathia is likely headed to the DL, and the Yankees need a lefty with experience.

This adds another chapter to the saga that is Chris Capuano. He has seemingly been sent up and down a hundred times this season, because he hasn’t pitched well. However, he is one of the teams’ only pitching options. Capuano has a 6.55 ERA this season, but has pitched in big games for several teams over the years. We’ll see how this goes…again.
