Everything’s coming up ARod!
If you listened to last week’s episode, you know Scott and I recorded during the Sunday night game and missed the 7 run rally vs Boston. We bashed the team pretty hard in that episode for the poor start so I think all the credit goes to us for motivating this mini-turnaround.
The Yankees are back to .500 after the sweep in Tampa. It was much needed since they have the Tigers and Mets coming up, two of the hottest teams in baseball. We kick the episode off talking about how Alex Rodriguez is the Yankees best player right now and if we can realistically expect this to last the whole season.
Scott and I recap the past week of games, including Stephen Drew’s miraculous grand slam, CC’s fielding troubles, and the middle relief struggles in Baltimore. Over the weekend the Yankees bats came alive and Tanaka had a strong start.
And for some reason the Yankees are still making videos. If you have not seen the latest one, check it out. Let’s just hope if they’re going to keep making videos they get funnier.
