The Yankees Offseason Starts – The Bronx Pinstripes Show #39

PODCAST UPDATE: in the offseason we will release episodes every Tuesday morning, instead of Monday. If you have not already done so, you can subscribe to the podcast in iTunes.

This week Scott and I talked about everything from the NFL, to SoulCycle, to the MLB Playoffs (which have been great despite the Yankees not making it past the Wild Card game). We also revisit how the Yankees season ended and some comments from Brian Cashman and Joe Girardi.

Click here to submit mailbag questions for upcoming episodes. Or call the voicemail line at 646-480-0342. We also started a Bronx Pinstripes Show Facebook group. It is open to anyone, just click “join” to get in on conversations and podcast updates. We plan to use some of the best topics in the group on the show.

It should be an exciting offseason for the Yankees. We are looking forward to the rookies that came up mid-season to take the next steps. A full season of Luis Severino in the rotation will be a huge boost to a starting staff that was solid, but did not go deep enough into games. There have been early rumors that Greg Bird will start next season in Scranton, which would be a HUGE mistake. Scott and I would like to see the Yankees be more creative with their players and find full-time at bats for Bird. We also thought Refsnyder was very solid at the end of the season and should be the leading candidate for 2B next year.

We end the show by taking a mailbag from Rudy G. If you want to get involved with the show you can submit mailbag questions, comments, rants, etc. HERE. Or call the voicemail line at 646-480-0342. Also hit us up on @BronxPinstripes#YankeesChat, and Instagram with questions.

Check us out in iTunes. We would love it if you can give us a rating/review if you enjoy the podcast. Follow @ScottReinen and @Yankees_talk.
