The Yankees have recalled RHP Chad Green from Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to add a fresh bullpen arm before tonight’s game against the Reds. In a corresponding move, Rob Refsnyder has been optioned back to the RailRiders.

This comes as no surprise after the 18 inning gauntlet against the Cubs last night this morning. Joe Girardi was forced to use every available pen arm, with the exception of Tommy Layne.
In five Triple-A starts this year, the 25-year-old Green is 2-1 with a 4.72 ERA. This will be his first big league action of 2017.
