The Yankees open up their Grapefruit League schedule this afternoon as they welcome in the Tigers to George M. Steinbrenner Field in Tampa. As is tradition, the Yanks will wear their home pinstripes in their first home spring game.
Luis Severino gets the start for the Yanks against Mike Pelfrey. Severino is expected to throw two innings or 30 pitches – whichever comes first.
