Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. It was a mostly forgettable contest at Camden Yards. Yet, it was quite memorable for one Yankee rookie. With his first major-league hit, Mason Williams earned his bomber badge, going deep against the Baltimore Orioles. If he’s anything like Bernie or Gerald, the kid has a bright future.
In his second at bat of the evening, Williams clocked an 0-1 offering from Ubaldo Jimenez, to right-center. The two-run shot was Williams’ first and pulled the Yanks within 5-3.
