Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. Another game, another case of the Yanks playing to their competition. In an 11-8 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies, there wasn’t much to write home about on the mound but the Yanks did find the seats on a couple of occasions, courtesy of Brian McCann and Brett Gardner.
During the first frame, McCann got the Yanks on the board. Playing on PIX 11, it was home run number eleven of the campaign for McCann. McCann’s home run to right, off Kevin Correia, made it a 1-1 contest.

In the fourth, with the Yankees down 8-2, Gardner walloped a three-run shot to right-center, off Correia. Gardner’s eighth round tripper of the season, cut the Philadelphia advantage to 8-5.
