Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. Well, the Yanks offense was driven by the long ball. Unfortunately, the Halos cranked out one more to make the difference. In fact, the Los Angeles Angeles had as many home runs as the Yankees had hits, in a 2-1 L.A. win.

Mark Teixeira, a one-time short timer Angel himself, provided the New York offense on the evening. Batting from the right side, Teixeira tattooed a solo smash in the second. The Tex message on a 1-1 pitch from Andrew Heaney in the second, broke the stalemate and gave the Yankees a 1-0 edge. Teixeira has 19 home runs on the season, 179 as a Yankee and 382 on his career.

On the year, the Bronx Bombers have 103 home runs.
