Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. On Wednesday, the Yankees were able to salvage the final game of their series at the Los Angeles Angels, winning 3-1. Garrett Jones answered the bell and his home run was the difference maker.
In the sixth frame, Jones jolted an 0-2 pitch from Matt Shoemaker, to right center, doubling the Yanks advantage to 2-0. The home run was Jones’ fifth of the season.
