Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. It was another South Side slugger show by the Bronx Bombers, smoking the Chicago White Sox, 12-3. While more than home runs drove the offense, Jacoby Ellsbury and Mark Teixeira chimed in with the round tripper.
Right off the rip, Ellsbury led of the first frame, smacking a solo shot off Jeff Samardzija, posting the Yanks to a 1-0 advantage. The home run was number four on the season for Ellsbury.
2nd pitch of the game? That’s all @JacobyEllsbury needed to put the #Yankees on the board. http://t.co/LxGPWYhnsR pic.twitter.com/3bm3BPKPwC

Then in the fifth, with the Yanks ahead 6-0, Teixeira tacked on the extra point. Tex rocked a towering drive to right, off Samardzija and into the right field stands. Home run number 29 for Tex, pushed the Bombers lead to 7-0.
