Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. A day off and some southern hospitality went a long way toward an offensive explosion for the Bronx Bombers, hammering three home runs in a 15-4 victory over the Atlanta Braves. Didi Gregorius, Brian McCann and Chris Young all went deep for New York.
It was a huge evening for Gregorius, who went 4-for-5 with six-RBI. Gregorius’ outburst began in the first frame. With two on and the Yankees ahead 2-0, Gregorius clocked a three-run homer to right, off Williams Perez. The seventh home run of the season for Gregorius, made it 5-0 Yanks.

Jumping to the eighth, with the Yanks now leading 9-3, McCann made some noise in his old stomping grounds. With two on, McCann rocked a three-run shot to right, off Andrew McKirahan, extending the lead to 12-3. McCann now has 23 round trippers.
