Bronx Bombers home run alert

Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. After being bombarded by Toronto’s trade deadline acquisitions all weekend, Yankees fans finally saw their deadline deal pay off Sunday. Dustin Ackley went deep for the first time in Pinstripes and the Yanks salvaged the final game of their series with the Jays, winning 5-0.

Ahead 2-0 in the fourth, Ackley clocked a two-run shot off R.A. Dickey, making it 4-0 Bombers. It was Ackley’s seventh homer of the season.

On the season the Bronx Bombers have 194 home runs.
