Bronx Bombers home run alert

Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. Carlos Beltran and Greg Bird were clutch with the long ball and the Bronx Bombers topped the Toronto Blue Jays, 6-4 in ten innings.

With the game squared at two in the eighth, Beltran swatted a solo shot to right, off Liam Hendriks. Beltran’s home run was his 17th of the season and made it 3-2 Yankees.

Then with the game knotted again in the tenth, Bird drilled a three-run round tripper to right, off Mark Lowe. Bird’s go-ahead and eventual game winning home run was his tenth of the year and gave the Yanks a 6-3 advantage.

On the season the Bronx Bombers have 205 home runs.
