Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. Last season the New York Giants lost to the Dallas Cowboys, 31-21 in Arlington. Tuesday the Yankees toasted the Texas Rangers by a final count of 21-5. In the process, the Bronx Bombers went deep twice, deep in the heart of Texas.

With the Yankees ahead 11-5 during the third inning, Chris Young smacked a grand slam to left, off a 3-1 offering from Wandy Rodriguez. Young waved a bigger wand with home run number 12 on the campaign, lifting the Bombers to a 15-5 advantage. Young had a night, heck he had a week, going 3-for-4 with a home run, four runs scored and five-RBI.

Capping off the scoring for good measure in the ninth was Brett Gardner. Facing position player Adam Rosales, Gardner crushed a full count fastball to deep right. It was home run number eleven for number eleven and gave the Yankees a 21-5 lead.
The Bronx Bombers have 133 home runs this year. Not all of them were actually hit in this game.
