Keeping tabs on every home run for the New York Yankees this season. A 14-4 bludgeoning of the Boston Red Sox, caps off a weekend which saw the Pinstripes park six home runs at Yankee Stadium. New York now has nine home runs on the 2015 campaign.

Brian McCann connected for his first home run of the season, Sunday night. McCann’s wall scraper to right, marked 200 on his career and his 24th as a Yankee.

Stephen Drew tacked on the extra point, in a seven-run first inning Bombers outburst Sunday evening. Drew’s first, was his fourth as a Yankee and the 98th of his career.

Chase Headley homered just before Drew in the first. Headley’s two-run jolt was his second of the series and season. Headley has 95 homers on his career and eight as a Yankee.

Chris Young’s three-run thump was a bright spot for the Yanks, Saturday afternoon. Down 8-1 in the eighth, Young’s home run pulled the Pinstripes within four. Young has 156 career home runs and four on his Yankee ledger.

Mark Teixeira’s second home run of the season, Friday (or to be accurate, Saturday morning) knotted the contest at five apiece in the 18th inning. Home run 162 for the birthday boy, in a Yankee uniform, placed him one ahead of Elston Howard for 25th on the all-time franchise list.

Headley’s timely heroics in the ninth, extended a game which would last 19 innings. With the Yanks down to their final out, Headley turned on one and it was bedlam in the Bronx.
