Overbay is likely to be released when Tex comes back. Youk will back up at first. Nix probably goes to AAA when Jeter returns and Francisco goes when Granderson returns. But in 2014 the Yankees will need a back up at first and in the outfield. Could be that is the reason Boesch is working out at first. The Yankee management seem to think Boesch has a higher ceiling than Franscisco and most likely are looking at Boesch more for ’14 than ’13.
