Spring Training Game 2 Lineup: 2/24/13

For the first time since October, we get to see the Bronx Bombers back in pinstripes. Today, the Yankees will face off against the revamped rival Toronto Blue Jays. Manager Joe Girardi will try the different outfield alignment, with Brett Gardner in center and Curtis Granderson in left. In the catching battle, Chris Stewart will get the start after Francisco Cervelli played yesterday, throwing out a runner  in an 8-3 Yankee win. We will also get to see Kevin Youkilis and Travis Hafner take their first swings as Yankees. As is custom in the first home Spring Training game, the Yankees will most likely wear their home pinstripe uniforms. Adam Warren will get the start. Here’s the rest of the lineup.

About Rich Kaufman

Ever since my parents bought me a Paul O'Neill shirt at my first Yankees game back in 1994 I've been a diehard fan. Couple that with the fact I recently graduated from Springfield College with a degree in sports journalism, and writing about baseball especially the Yankees has become a passion of mine. Growing up and still living about 45 minutes north of the Stadium makes being a Yankee fan that much more special and exciting for me. For some Yankees talk follow me on Twitter @RAKcity27
