Finally some good news for the Yankees universe! I feel the injury bug never leaves the Yankees.
Aaron Boone said that the Gary Sanchez may be returning back into the lineup this Friday against the Detroit Tigers.
Sanchez has been scratched from the lineup since March 7 due to a sore back. He’s been listed as day-to-day.
Gary Sanchez said the discomfort is in his lower to mid back. No MRIs yet. He doesn’t expect to take BP today and said he thinks it’s possible to play tomorrow, but “this is the right time to take care of it” so it could be another day.

According to NJ.com, Boone said the following:
“He’ll get live ABs Thursday, and then the plan would be for him to be in the lineup Friday.”
The Kraken had a great 2019 season hitting 34 HR’s with 77 RBI’s while earning 40 walks, showing how valuable he is to the organization. We need him back as fast as possible. When he comes back, let’s just hope he’s back for good.
