Gary Sanchez has a fever, leaves Yankees facilities

Oh my. First Gary had a sore back (and still has one), now he has a fever. According to NJ.com, Gary will be seeing the Yankees’ doctor today and then the organization will provide us an update afterwards.

As we all know, the Coronavirus is spreading globally, and we can only hope Gary doesn’t have it.

Sanchez was scheduled for back field batting practice today, and Aaron Boone said that he will catch side sessions while the team is traveling the next two days. Gary did not take BP and it is unclear if he will catch those side sessions later this week.

It concerns me how everything is happening to Sanchez. He’s a vital player to the organization when he gets going (In the 2019 season, he hit 34 HR’s with 77 RBI’s while earning 40 walks).

Hopefully Sanchez doesn’t have the Coronavirus, feels better, and is ready to play. He is a difference maker when he is the Kraken.
