I read on though and when I got to number 1 I was even more surprised to say I agreed with you.

Its hard to justify Number 1 not being 3,000 and the way he got it- by home run- but 'the flip' is one of those plays that any fan, not just Yankee, of baseball will remember forever. I am not a Yankee fan, but I remember that play like it was yesterday and I remember everyone's reaction as well- completely and utter amazement. That was one of the greatest plays and most clutch plays in the history of the game. Looking back on his career now, we can safely say you expect Derek Jeter and only Derek Jeter to make a play like that- which is why it has to be Number 1.
