Derek Jeter made the night of a fan on New Year’s Eve.
According to Mara Siegler of pagesix.com, Jeter and his wife, Hannah, were seen dining at Bern’s Steakhouse in Tampa, Florida.
During the couple’s dinner, a fan came up to the table, and he wasn’t concerned with talking to Jeter about him or his Hall of Fame baseball career. The fan simply wanted to compliment Hannah, a Sports Illustrated model, by saying how beautiful she is.
Jeter agreed with the fan’s comment. According to reports, Jeter replied back to the fan, saying that she is the “Most beautiful in the world.” Jeter also added that “She is the best decision I have ever made.”
To thank the fan for his kind words, Jeter proceeded to generously pick up his bill for the evening. This situation goes to show you that one nice comment could definitely mean a lot to someone.
