2018 Fan Guide to Yankee Stadium

Whether you’re a frequent visitor or making your first trip to the Bronx, it’s always exciting to visit Yankee Stadium. Over the past few seasons, the Yankees added an array of food options and lounge areas to give fans a unique experience at the ballpark. So if you’re planning on making the trip to Yankee Stadium to see the New York Yankees #ChaseFor28, here’s a guide make the most out of your experience.

Getting to Yankee Stadium

The easiest–and cheapest–way to travel to Yankee Stadium is by taking the train to the game. If you’re in the city, you can take a Bronx bound B, D, and 4 train to 161st Street/Yankee Stadium (The B & D lines will announce the stop as 161st Street and River Avenue). You can also take the Metro North from Grand Central to Yankees-153rd Street, but it will cost you more than taking regular transportation.

Single-game ticket options

Even though Yankee Stadium appears business oriented, it’s possible to spend less than $20 on a ticket. Last season, the Yankees introduced the Pinstripe Pass ticket which starts at $15 for select games. The Pinstripe Pass ticket is a general admission standing-room-only ticket which includes one drink. If you are 21 and older with a valid ID, your choice may include a 12 oz. domestic beer. Otherwise, you can choose one Pepsi product or a bottle of Poland Spring. If you purchase a Pinstripe Pass ticket, you may sit in non-assigned standing room areas throughout the stadium or at any of the social gathering locations listed in the next section.

If you’re not interested in purchasing a Pinstripe Pass ticket, you may also purchase a Grandstand Level ticket, which starts at $10. Quantities for the Grandstand Level ticket may vary.
