The Yankees scored in the typical fashion of the long ball with home runs from Andruw Jones and Curtis Granderson but the Red Sox used the home run ball tonight too.
Home runs by Kevin Youkilis, David Ortiz, and Jarrod Saltalamacchia put the game out of reach.
Two feel-good moments took place for those in support of Jorge Posada during the recent actions yesterday. In the 1st inning, during the traditional roll call from the Bleacher Creatures, Jorge Posada was put into the roll call which he acknowledged from the dugout. Later in the 8th inning, Jorge Posada came in as a pinch hitter and received a standing ovation before being walked.
