Yankees game 84 preview (7/8/15)

After skipping his last start, CC Sabathia (3-8, 5.59 ERA) will get the ball against Scott Kazmir (5-5, 2.56 ERA) in game two against the A’s. Sabathia took his fourth straight loss his last time out, going a season high 7 1/3 innings giving up four runs on six hits, two long balls, to the Angels. He has allowed 10 runs in 12 innings in his last two starts.

Kazmir is coming off eight shutout innings in his last start against the Mariners picking up the W. He has gone at least seven innings in his last three starts and has only allowed four runs in that time. He is 8-7 with a 3.28 ERA in 20 appearances (19 starts) in his career against the Yanks.
