It’s a beautiful day for a ballgame, let’s play two! The Yanks and Jays will play a single admission doubleheader due to a rain out on Thursday. Ivan Nova (6-7, 4.50 ERA) and Michael Pineda (10-8, 4.15 ERA) will be going for the Yanks, order to be determined. They will be taking on Marco Estrada (12-8, 3.18 ERA) in game one and Marcus Stroman in game two. Nova is coming off a win against the Rays, allowing three runs on six hits through six. Pineda took a no decision against the Orioles his last time out giving up four runs through six. They have each faced Toronto twice this year, with Pineda going 1-0 and Nova 1-1.

Estrada took the win in his last outing against Baltimore. He went five innings giving up two runs on one homer. He has held opponents to two earned runs or fewer in 14 of his last 15 starts. He is 1-2 in three starts against the Yanks this season.

Stroman, who was expected to be out all year due to an ACL tear, rejoins the Jays after just seven months from suffering the injury. The Medford, NY nativeย went 11-6 with a 3.65 ERA as a rookie last year going 2-1 against the Yanks.
