As expected, CC Sabathia has been reinstated from the 10-day disabled list and will start Thursday night against the Blue Jays. In a corresponding move, Luis Cessa was placed on the 10-day DL with a left oblique strain (retroactive to 4/18).

Sabathia left his 4/6 start against the Orioles after just four innings due to right hip soreness. He allowed three runs on four hits with only 58 pitches. The big man has a 4.00 ERA through his two starts with no record.
